It takes him a while to come back--probably because he doesn't know how laundry works and has decided to wash his clothes in the lake?? It's obviously not all that effective, but his clothes are mostly dry when he returns, and he's cleaned up carefully enough that his bandage is still dry and intact.
He's got something else in his hand, when he returns--it's a small model-size version of a sword. This one, he simply puts into the box of belongings he keeps near his bed, though he handles it with great care. Once that's done, he'll sit down--he can't answer all that many questions, but he can try, if Wei Wuxian wants to ask.]

[So he'd done his best to carry a body in one arm and fight with the other, which... he's not really that kind of weapon.]
Then, when we had to fight, the person who attacked me had a weapon I'd never seen before. It was very powerful, but the hall was too narrow to dodge very well.
[So with the handicap of a body to protect, paired with two other sets of people fighting in that same small space... he did what he could, but it wasn't enough.]

No, none of them. Dick-san might have, but I don't think Sanji-kun did either. One of them had an axe, and person I was fighting had... it must've been something modern. The blade was shaped like this.

There was a screen... and a countdown. It was a different illusion. It tried to make us... choose a team to sacrifice, but we were able to stop it. [Symbolism?? Maybe??? Or is it just References, we just don't know.] And then something about a "detonation"? Which we had to run away from...
It's fine though he also doesn't know a modern bomb, even if he can kind of extrapolate. He makes a face at all of that though, since he's wondering the same thing. A reference? Symbolism? A warning of things to come?? Mysteries. After huffing out a little sigh:]
I'm taking that to mean you got away from all of that before anything too dangerous could happen to you all, yes?
Well, we escaped from that, but that's when we saw the bodies, and we had to fight. [OUT OF THE FRYING PAN AND INTO THE FIRE.] But then we were pulled from that illusion, too.
No. We probably would've died. [Which sucks! A lot!!!] I don't know exactly what happened, but we heard a voice yell "enough", and then we woke up somewhere else.
